[494] Here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu, while undergoing probation (parivāsa), commits in the interim numerous saṅghādisesa offenses — some limited in number, some unlimited — unconcealed. That bhikkhu should be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassitabbo). ¹ The Burmese and European editions read *aparimāṇā*; likewise below.
