Vinayapiṭaka · Cūḷavagga (1) · Vol. 6 · Section 530

[530] Bhikkhus, here again, a bhikkhu, while undergoing probation (parivāsa), commits several saṅghādisesa offences in the interim, does not conceal them, and disrobes (vibbhamati). Having been ordained again, he conceals those offences. That bhikkhu should be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassitabbo), and he should be given a combined probation (samodhānaparivāsa) for his offences according as they were concealed, combined with the earlier offence. [Variant note in the Siam Raṭṭha edition: "In the European (PTS) edition, 'niṭṭhitaṃ' (concluded) is absent."]
