Samuccayakkhandhaka

[557] Two bhikkhus have committed a saṅghādisesa offense. They hold the view that those saṅghādisesa offenses are mixed offenses. One conceals it; one does not conceal it. The one who conceals should be made to confess an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). And, having given him probation (parivāsa) corresponding to the period of concealment, mānatta should be given to both.
