[559] Two bhikkhus have committed a mixed offense (missaka); they hold the view, regarding those mixed offenses, that they are mixed. One conceals it, one does not conceal it. The one who conceals it should be made to confess an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). And having given him probation (parivāsa) in accordance with the offense as concealed, penance (mānatta) should be given to both.
