[564] Two bhikkhus have committed an offense entailing initial and subsequent meetings of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa). They hold the view regarding those saṅghādisesa offenses that they are saṅghādisesa offenses. They become insane. Later, having recovered from insanity, one conceals it and one does not conceal it. The one who conceals it should be made to confess an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). And, having given him probation (parivāsa) according to the extent of the concealment, penance (mānatta) should be given to both.
