[645] What are the three wholesome roots (kusalamūla) that are the root of a legal issue arising from accusation (anuvādādhikaraṇa)? Here, bhikkhus, bhikkhus accuse a bhikkhu with a mind free of greed (alobha), accuse him with a mind free of hatred (adosa), accuse him with a mind free of delusion (amoha), regarding failure in virtue (sīlavipatti), failure in conduct (ācāravipatti), failure in view (diṭṭhivipatti), or failure in livelihood (ājīvavipatti). These three wholesome roots are the root of a legal issue arising from accusation.
