[106] Now at that time a piece of felt (namataka) had accrued to the Saṅgha. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow felt." Then it occurred to the bhikkhus: "Should felt be formally determined (adhiṭṭhāna), or should it be assigned in shared ownership (vikappa)?" … "Bhikkhus, felt is neither to be formally determined nor to be assigned in shared ownership."
