[126] Then the Blessed One, having stayed among the Bhaggas as long as he wished, set out on tour toward Sāvatthī, and wandering on tour by stages, he arrived at Sāvatthī. There the Blessed One dwelt at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's monastery.
Then Visākhā, Migāra's mother, taking a water jar (ghaṭaka), a foot-scrubber (kataka), and a broom (sammajjanī), approached the Blessed One; having approached and paid homage to the Blessed One, she sat down to one side. Seated to one side, Visākhā, Migāra's mother, said this to the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, may the Blessed One accept from me the water jar, the foot-scrubber, and the broom, that it may be for my welfare and happiness for a long time."
The Blessed One accepted the water jar and the broom; the Blessed One did not accept the foot-scrubber. Then the Blessed One instructed, roused, inspired, and gladdened Visākhā, Migāra's mother, with a talk on the Dhamma. Then Visākhā, Migāra's mother, having been instructed, roused, inspired, and gladdened by the Blessed One with a talk on the Dhamma, rose from her seat, paid homage to the Blessed One, circumambulated him keeping her right side toward him, and departed.
