The grounds became soiled. … They reported this matter to the Blessed One. … "Bhikkhus, I allow one to relieve oneself at one side." The grounds became foul-smelling. … "Bhikkhus, I allow a cesspit (vaccakūpa)." The wall of the cesspit collapsed. … "Bhikkhus, I allow it to be lined with three kinds of facing: a facing of bricks, a facing of stone, a facing of wood."
