[222] Now at that time the sleeping places (seyyā) of the sectarians were white in color; the floor was made black; the walls were finished with red ochre (geruka). Many people went to look at the sleeping places. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow, in a dwelling (vihāra), white coloring, black coloring, and finishing with red ochre."
