[230] Now at that time the footing of the wall (kuḍḍapāda) of a dwelling was decaying. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow a buttress-frame at the base of the wall (kulaṅkapādaka)." The wall of the dwelling was soaked by the rain. … "Bhikkhus, I allow a protective screen (parittāṇakiṭikā) and a smeared coating of plaster (uddhāsudhā)."
