[3] Now at that time the group-of-six bhikkhus, while bathing, rubbed their bodies against a wall — the thigh, the arm, the chest, and the back. People looked down upon it, criticized, and spread it about, saying: "How can these ascetics, sons of the Sakyan, while bathing, rub their bodies against a wall — the thigh, the arm, the chest, and the back — like wrestler-boxers (mallamuṭṭhikā), like village dandies (gāmapūṭavā)?" …
"Bhikkhus, one who is bathing should not rub the body against a wall. Whoever should rub it commits an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
