[423] Now at that time a certain elder, being pressed by a call of nature at the refectory (bhattagga), kept waiting. While holding back his excrement, he fainted and fell down. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, when there is something that must be done, I allow a bhikkhu to go after taking leave of the bhikkhu seated immediately next to him."
