[46] Now at that time bhikkhus placed their bowls on a bed. Sitting down with lapsed mindfulness, they sat down upon them and broke the bowls. They informed the Blessed One of this matter. … "Bhikkhus, a bowl should not be placed on a bed. Whoever should place one commits an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
