[477] What are the five suspensions of the Pātimokkha (pātimokkhaṭṭhapana) that are not in accordance with the Dhamma? One suspends the Pātimokkha on account of a groundless (amūlaka) pārājika; one suspends the Pātimokkha on account of a groundless saṅghādisesa; one suspends the Pātimokkha on account of a groundless pācittiya; one suspends the Pātimokkha on account of a groundless pāṭidesanīya; one suspends the Pātimokkha on account of a groundless dukkaṭa. These are the five suspensions of the Pātimokkha that are not in accordance with the Dhamma.
