[524] Now at that time bhikkhus did not recite the Pātimokkha to the bhikkhunīs … Those bhikkhus reported this matter to the Blessed One. … "Bhikkhus, I allow the Pātimokkha to be recited to bhikkhunīs."
Then it occurred to the bhikkhus: "By whom, then, should the Pātimokkha be recited to the bhikkhunīs?" Those bhikkhus reported this matter to the Blessed One. … "Bhikkhus, I allow the Pātimokkha to be recited to bhikkhunīs by bhikkhus."
