[537] Then it occurred to the bhikkhus: "Is it allowable to hold the Uposatha (uposatha) together with a bhikkhunī (bhikkhunī) for whom the exhortation (ovāda) has been suspended, or is it not allowable?" They reported this matter to the Blessed One. … "Bhikkhus, the Uposatha should not be held together with a bhikkhunī for whom the exhortation has been suspended, until that legal issue (adhikaraṇa) has been settled."
