[559] Now at that time a certain bhikkhunī, as she was passing away, said thus: "After my passing, let my requisites (parikkhāra) belong to the Saṅgha." Thereupon the bhikkhus and the bhikkhunīs disputed, saying, "They belong to us," "They belong to us." They reported this matter to the Blessed One. …
"Bhikkhus, if a bhikkhunī, when passing away, should say thus: 'After my passing, let my requisites belong to the Saṅgha,' the Saṅgha of bhikkhus has no ownership therein; they belong solely to the Saṅgha of bhikkhunīs.
"Bhikkhus, if a sikkhamānā … "Bhikkhus, if a sāmaṇerī, when passing away, should say thus: 'After my passing, let my requisites belong to the Saṅgha,' the Saṅgha of bhikkhus has no ownership therein; they belong solely to the Saṅgha of bhikkhunīs.
