[576] And how should she appoint (sammannitabbaṃ) herself by herself? The Saṅgha should be informed by a competent, capable bhikkhunī (bhikkhunī): "Venerable ladies, let the Saṅgha listen to me. So-and-so is a candidate for full ordination (upasampadāpekkhā) under the venerable so-and-so. If it is the right time for the Saṅgha, I would instruct (anusāseyyaṃ) so-and-so." Thus should she appoint herself by herself.
