[60] Now at that time bhikkhus stepped on the kathina frame (kaṭhina) with unwashed feet. The kathina frame was damaged. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. … "Bhikkhus, the kathina frame should not be stepped on with unwashed feet. Whoever should step on it commits an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
