[658] "Venerable sir, is the unchurned-milk allowance (amathitakappa) permissible?"
"What, friend, is the unchurned-milk allowance?"
"Venerable sir, is it permissible for one who has eaten and given the refusal (pavārita) to drink milk which has abandoned the state of milk but has not yet arrived at the state of curd, it being not left over (anatiritta)?"
"No, friend, it is not permissible."
"Where was it prohibited?"
"At Sāvatthī, in the Suttavibhaṅga."
"What offense does one commit?"
"A pācittiya for eating food that is not left over."
"Venerable sirs, let the Saṅgha hear me. This seventh matter has been decided by the Saṅgha. Thus this matter is contrary to the Dhamma, contrary to the Vinaya, departed from the Teacher's instruction. This seventh voting-ticket (salākā) I put down."
