They brought water with a dish and with a bowl … "Bhikkhus, I allow a water container (udakanidhāna) and a water scoop (udakasarāvaka)." The grass-roofed bathhouse did not induce sweating … "Bhikkhus, I allow you, having bound it down [with a covering layer], to make it plastered within and without." The bathhouse was muddy … "Bhikkhus, I allow three kinds of flooring to be laid down: a brick flooring, a stone flooring, and a wooden flooring." It was still muddy … "Bhikkhus, I allow it to be washed." Water accumulated … "Bhikkhus, I allow a water drain."
