[90] Now at that time bhikkhus, being naked, paid homage to one who was naked; being naked, they paid homage to one who was not naked; being naked, they had a naked one pay homage to them; being naked, they had one who was not naked pay homage to them; being naked, they performed a service for a naked one; being naked, they had a service performed for a naked one; being naked, they gave to a naked one; being naked, they received; naked, they chewed; naked, they ate; naked, they tasted; naked, they drank. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. …
"Bhikkhus, one who is naked should not pay homage to a naked one; one who is naked should not pay homage; one who is naked should not have a naked one pay homage to him; one who is naked should not have homage paid to him; one who is naked should not perform a service for a naked one; one who is naked should not have a service performed [for a naked one]; one who is naked should not give to a naked one; one who is naked should not receive; one who is naked should not chew; one who is naked should not eat; one who is naked should not taste; one who is naked should not drink. Whoever should drink: an offence (āpatti) of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
