[1003] Summary verse (uddāna) of the Group of Tens: Grounds for resentment (āghāta) and their removal, and cases (vatthu); wrong [view], right [view], and [views] that grasp extremes (antagā); wrongness (micchatta) and also rightness (sammatta), the unwholesome and the wholesome too; tickets (salākā) [taken] in accordance with Dhamma and not in accordance with Dhamma, and novices (sāmaṇera), and expulsion (nāsanā); speech (bhāsā) and legal issues (adhikaraṇa), the motion (ñatti), and the light [offence]; light and heavy — know these as the dark and the bright; the committee (ubbāhikā) and the training (sikkhā), the royal inner quarters (antepura), and objects (vatthu); the gem (ratana), and the group of ten (dasavagga), and likewise ordination (upasampadā); the wearing of rag-robes (paṃsukūla), ten days, semen (sukka), women; wives, the ten grounds, the one not to be venerated, and with abuse (akkosa); slander (pesuñña) and lodgings (senā), boons (vara), and those not in accordance with Dhamma, those in accordance with Dhamma, gruel (yāgu) and meat (maṃsa), the supreme (paramā), the bhikkhu, the bhikkhunī, the sponsoring of ordination (vuṭṭhāpanā), women who have lived with a man (gihigatā) — the Tens are well proclaimed.
