[1214] Offense (āpatti) — twofold; legal issue (adhikaraṇa); through desire, and by one of little learning; the ground (vatthu), and the unskilled one; the person, and through material gain (āmisa); it breaks apart, and dissension in the Saṅgha (saṅgharāji), and likewise schism in the Saṅgha (saṅghabheda).
