[1264] All the offenses up to the third admonition (yāvatatiyakā)— to how many grounds (ṭhāna) do they extend? For how many is there an offense (āpatti), and for how many by way of a legal issue (adhikaraṇa)? All the offenses up to the third admonition extend to five grounds; there is an offense for five, and for five by way of a legal issue.
