[128] "Where was the offence of expiation (pācittiya) laid down for one who, knowing, reopens for a further formal act a legal issue (adhikaraṇa) that has been settled according to the Dhamma?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." "With reference to whom?" — "With reference to the group-of-six (chabbaggiyā) bhikkhus." "On account of what matter?" — "On the matter that the group-of-six bhikkhus, knowing, reopened for a further formal act a legal issue that had been settled according to the Dhamma." There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpatti), it arises through three origins. …
