[61] "Where was the offence entailing expiation (pācittiya) for insulting speech (omasavāda) laid down?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning the group-of-six bhikkhus." "On what matter?" — "On the matter that the group-of-six bhikkhus, quarrelling with well-behaved bhikkhus, insulted the well-behaved bhikkhus." There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through three origins. …
