[85] "Where was the offence of expiation (pācittiya) laid down for one who says, 'The bhikkhus instruct the bhikkhunīs for the sake of material gain (āmisa)'?" "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." "Concerning whom?" "Concerning the group-of-six (chabbaggiyā) bhikkhus." "On account of what matter?" "On account of the matter that the group-of-six bhikkhus said, 'The bhikkhus instruct the bhikkhunīs for the sake of material gain.'" There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through three origins. …
