[1292] "How many offences entailing forfeiture (nissaggiya) were declared by the Buddha, Kinsman of the Sun (ādiccabandhu)? Of you who profess the Vinaya we would hear the range (visaya)." "Forty-two offences entailing forfeiture were declared by the Buddha, Kinsman of the Sun. Of me who profess the Vinaya, hear the range."
