[1347] There are four formal acts (kamma): the act of announcement (apalokanakamma), the act with a motion (ñattikamma), the act with a motion as second (ñattidutiyakamma), and the act with a motion as fourth (ñatticatutthakamma). In how many ways do these four formal acts fail? These four formal acts fail in five ways: through the object (vatthu), through the motion (ñatti), through the proclamation (anussāvana), through the boundary (sīmā), or through the assembly (parisā).
