[1350] How do formal acts (kamma) fail by way of the proclamation (anussāvana)?
Formal acts fail by way of the proclamation in five ways: one does not touch upon the matter (vatthu); one does not touch upon the Saṅgha; one does not touch upon the person; one omits the proclamation (sāvana); or one proclaims at the wrong time. In these five ways formal acts fail by way of the proclamation.
