[179] For one who, out of disrespect (anādariya), goes amid the houses making a loud sound, a great sound — an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa) … The group-of-six (chabbaggiyā) bhikkhus went amid the houses making a loud sound, a great sound; that was the case in question. There is one laying down of the rule (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it originates through one origin (as with the samanubhāsanā [rule]).
