[221] "For one who, out of disrespect (anādariya), receives a drinking-water vessel with a hand soiled with food — where was the offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa) laid down?"
"It was laid down among the Bhaggas."
"Concerning whom?"
"Concerning several bhikkhus."
"On what matter?"
"On the matter that several bhikkhus received a drinking-water vessel with hands soiled with food."
There is one laying down of the rule (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises by one origin: it arises from body and from mind (citta), not from speech.
