Kaṭhinavagga

[267] A bhikkhu asking a householder or a householder's wife who is not a relative for a robe (cīvara) beyond that [allowance] commits two offenses (āpatti): in the act of asking, an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when it has been asked for [and obtained], an offense entailing forfeiture and expiation (nissaggiya pācittiya).
