[270] A bhikkhu bringing a robe (cīvara) to completion by demanding more than three times, by standing more than six times, commits two offences (āpatti): while he is engaged in bringing it to completion, in the effort there is an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when it has been brought to completion, there is an offence entailing expiation with forfeiture (nissaggiya pācittiya).
