[287] A bhikkhu who, not having been previously invited, approaches the weavers of an unrelated householder and engages in giving specifications regarding a robe commits two offenses: while he is engaging in the specification, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa) in the act; when the specification has been made, there is an offense entailing expiation with forfeiture (nissaggiya pācittiya).
