[298] A bhikkhu announcing to an unordained person (anupasampanna) a superhuman state (uttarimanussadhamma) that is factual commits two offenses (āpatti): as he is announcing it, for the effort (payoga), there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when it has been announced, there is an offense of pācittiya.
