[326] A **bhikkhu** who, offering (abhihaṭṭhuṃ) non-leftover (anatiritta) hard food or soft food, invites a bhikkhu who has eaten and has refused further food (pavārita), incurs two offenses (āpatti): when at his word the other accepts it, thinking, "I shall chew, I shall eat," there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); at the conclusion of the meal, there is an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
