[331] A bhikkhu giving with his own hand hard food (khādanīya) or soft food (bhojanīya) to a naked ascetic (acelaka), or to a male wanderer (paribbājaka), or to a female wanderer (paribbājikā), commits two offenses (āpatti): while he is giving, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa) in the act; when it has been given, there is an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
