[483] "Where was the saṅghādisesa laid down on account of bhikkhus who follow one who creates schism not relinquishing when formally admonished up to the third time (samanubhāsanā)?" — "It was laid down at Rājagaha." — "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning several bhikkhus." — "On what matter?" — "On the matter that several bhikkhus were followers of Devadatta as he was striving for schism in the Saṅgha (saṅghabheda), speaking in support of the faction. There is one laying-down of the rule (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses, it arises through one origin: it arises from body, from speech, and from mind (citta)."
