[491] In consequence of intentionally emitting semen with effort (upakkamitvā asuciṃ mocanapaccayā), how many offences (āpatti) does one commit? In consequence of intentionally emitting semen with effort, one commits three offences: he intends, he makes the effort, and it is emitted — an offence of saṅghādisesa; he intends, he makes the effort, but it is not emitted — an offence of thullaccaya; for the act of effort (payoga) — an offence of dukkaṭa.
