[524] "Where was the saṅghādisesa laid down for a bhikkhunī who, being angry, does not relinquish [her course] when formally admonished (samanubhāsanā) up to the third time?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." — "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning the bhikkhunī Caṇḍakālī." — "On account of what matter?" — "On the matter that the bhikkhunī Caṇḍakālī, angry and displeased, spoke thus: 'I repudiate the Buddha, I repudiate the Dhamma, I repudiate the Saṅgha, I repudiate the training.'" There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six originations of offences, it arises through one origination (as in the Dhuranikkhepa [rule]).
