[799] "Where was the saṅghādisesa laid down on account of a bhikkhunī (bhikkhunī) who, being angry, does not relinquish [her course] upon being formally admonished (samanubhāsanā) up to the third time?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī."
"Concerning whom?" — "Concerning the bhikkhunī Caṇḍakāḷī."
"In regard to what matter?" — "In regard to the matter of the bhikkhunī Caṇḍakāḷī, who, angry and displeased, spoke thus: 'I repudiate the Buddha, I repudiate the Dhamma, I repudiate the Saṅgha, I repudiate the training.'"
There is one laying down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through one origin. (As in the case of "laying down the burden" — dhuranikkhepa.)
