[584] "Where was the offense entailing expiation (pācittiya) for spinning yarn laid down?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." — "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning several bhikkhunīs." — "In regard to what matter?" — "In the matter of several bhikkhunīs spinning yarn." There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through two origins (as in the goat's-wool training rule [Eḷakalomaka]).
