[599] For (a bhikkhunī) who does not go either for the exhortation (ovāda) or for communion (saṃvāsa) — a pācittiya. Where was it laid down? It was laid down among the Sakyans. Concerning whom? Concerning the group-of-six bhikkhunīs. On what matter? On the matter that the group-of-six bhikkhunīs did not go for the exhortation. There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it originates through one origin (as in the first pārājika).
