[613] "Where was the offence of expiation (pācittiya) laid down for one who ordains (vuṭṭhāpeti) a maiden (kumārībhūtā) who has completed twenty years but who has not trained for two years in the six dhammas?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." — "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning several bhikkhunīs." — "On account of what matter?" — "On the matter that several bhikkhunīs ordained a maiden who had completed twenty years but who had not trained for two years in the six dhammas." — There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through three origins.
