[623] "The offense entailing expiation (pācittiya) for a bhikkhunī who gives ordination (vuṭṭhāpeti) every year — where was it laid down?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning several bhikkhunīs." "On account of what matter?" — "On the matter of several bhikkhunīs giving ordination every year." There is one laying down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses, it arises through three origins.
