[605] "Where was the offense of expiation (pācittiya) laid down for one who ordains (vuṭṭhāpeti) a probationer (sikkhamānā) who has trained in the training in the six rules for two years but who has not been authorized by the Saṅgha?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." — "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning several bhikkhunīs." — "On what matter?" — "On the matter that several bhikkhunīs ordained a probationer who had trained in the training in the six rules for two years but who had not been authorized by the Saṅgha." — "There is one laying down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses, it arises through three origins."
