[794] Question: Where was the saṅghādisesa on account of ordaining a criminal woman (corī) laid down by that Blessed One who knows, who sees, the Arahant, the Perfectly Awakened One? Answer: It was laid down at Sāvatthī. Q: Concerning whom? A: Concerning the bhikkhunī Thullanandā. Q: In what matter? A: In the matter of the bhikkhunī Thullanandā ordaining a criminal woman. There is one laying down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises from two origins: it may arise from speech and mind, not from body; and it may arise from body, speech, and mind.
